What's the difference between the kits?

Same DVR, same 60fps recording in every kit. The only difference is what's in the box, see the photos above.

Do I need batteries?

Yes, 2x 18500 Li-ion batteries, AA won't work. Check the "Shop by kit" comparison above, several tiers already include them.

Which cable does my camcorder need?

Depends on your camcorder's AV output, see the cable finder above.

My camcorder only has 2 RCA plugs, not 3, can I still use the 3-RCA cable?

Yes. The 3-RCA cable works with both 2-channel and 3-channel RCA camcorders, the extra connector is simply left unused on a 2-channel setup.

Does this work with the Sony VX1000, VX2000, or VX2100?

Yes, with the 3-RCA cable, not the 3.5mm one.

Does this work with Canon camcorders?

Yes. The Canon GL2, for example, has a small 3.5mm AV port, so it uses the 3.5mm cable, the same one Sony TRV900 owners need.
