The ImmersionRC PowerPlay records straight to MicroSD, but it needs the right cable to actually talk to your camcorder. This is that cable, for camcorders with a small 3.5mm AV jack built in.

One end plugs into your camcorder, the other into the PowerPlay. Directional by design, so audio and video line up correctly without messing with the connector.
